 Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 17 Air this fall, and a new leak claims that it will have an incredibly small battery. If accurate, this means that owners of the unconfirmed device can expect particularly poor battery life from their new iPhone. The report comes via leaker Instant Digital, who posted to their Weibo social network to confirm that the battery will have a capacity smaller than 3,000mAh. As MacRumors points out, the last time we saw an iPhone with such a small battery was when the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models launched. This leak also backed up a previous report by The Information that suggested the iPhone 17 Air would have worse battery life than the current iPhones that are on sale.
