Google brings table editing and more to Docs for iOS

Google has rolled out a brand new update to Docs for iOS, which adds the ability to edit tables and brings other new features. The release also promises to improve performance and fix bugs.
With the ability to finally edit tables inside of Docs, users no longer have to switch between several applications and copy and paste things into their documents. Quick edits can be made inside the Docs app itself, saving lots of time and effort.
This update also brings the ability to track changes and comments when using Word documents, and the ability to accept and reject suggested edits from the comment stream. The release hit the App Store right before Google rolled out a big update for Chrome.
With Chrome’s new Today widget, users can open new tabs and make voice searches from directly within Notification Center. And if you have copied a link from another app, you’ll be able to open this from inside the widget, too, by tapping “Open Copied Link.”
In addition, Google has introduced a new gestures to the Chrome browser itself, which lets you swipe down on any page to refresh it. If you just pull it down slightly, you’ll also find shortcuts to add a new tab, or close the one you currently have open.
The Chrome update also adds support for iOS app extensions, like those used by password management apps LastPass and 1Password, allowing you to log into your favorite sites with one tap.
