Quickly snap photos on your iPhone without launching the Camera app with QuickShoot Pro [Jailbreak Tweak]

Have you ever missed a perfect photo just because you were waiting for the Camera app to open on your iPhone? If you’ve faced such a situation before, you should probably check out a jailbreak tweak known as QuickShoot Pro that allows you to quickly snap pictures.
The tweak lets you take pictures and videos quickly from the Home screen without having to launch the Camera app. It accomplishes this by requiring you to double tap on the Camera app icon to snap a picture right away and triple tap on the app icon to capture a video. Once it has started recording a video, you can then triple tap on the Camera app icon again to stop it.
This way, a photo or a video is taken without having to open the Camera app. However, this method is redundant since you can now slide the Camera icon on the Lock screen to capture photos or videos right away, but the tweak also allows you to set Activator gestures for snapping photos or recording videos from anywhere in iOS, which is one the reasons that makes it more useful
After installing the tweak, you’ll find tons of configuration dedicated to QuickShot Pro in the stock Settings app.You can switch between front and rear camera, change the video quality of the recordings, enable or disable flash, HDR or anti-blue and much more. From the preference pane, you can also set the Activator gestures for capturing photos and recording videos.

With that said, when you double tap on the Camera app icon, you’ll notice a little animation that appears on the icon indicating the snapshot. The same applies when you triple tap on the icon for video recording.
If you capture photos or videos frequently on your iPhone, you’ll definitely find this tweak useful. QuickShoot Pro iOS 8 is available on Cydia’s BigBoss repository for $1.49.
