TaiG team is also working on iOS 9.2 jailbreak

Jailbreak iOS 9.2

Few days back, there were rumors that the Pangu team was working on a jailbreak for iOS 9.2.
Not surprisingly, Pangu is not the only team working on the iOS 9.2 jailbreak. 3K Assistant has confirmed that TaiG team is also working on the iOS 9.2 jailbreak.
3K Assistant, TaiG’s partner had announced that they had made a breakthrough in jailbreaking iOS 9.2, and they hope to release an untethered iOS 9.2 jailbreak tool soon.
Stephen Chan of Superphen.co who was first to report the news, provides the English translation of 3K Assistant’s announcement:
It has been 8 days since iOS 9.2 has been officially released. In those 8 days, 3K Assistant has been industrious on iOS 9.2 jailbreak. Our effort was rewarded, after 8 days of hard work, 3K Assistant has finally made some breakthrough on iOS 9.2.
Although iOS 9.2 is yet completely jailbroken, I believe in the very near future, iOS 9.2 untethered jailbreak will be presented to all of you. Jailbreakers please be patient in waiting and expecting…
All in all, there will be iOS 9.2 jailbreak tool, it’s just a matter of time.
Since they haven’t completely jailbroken iOS 9.2, it is probably difficult to provide an ETA, but they seem to be confident that they will be able to release an iOS 9.2 jailbreak tool.
There has been a healthy competition between Pangu and the TaiG jailbreak team, so it will be interesting to see who ends up releasing a jailbreak for iOS 9.2 first. Pangu team has released jailbreaks for iOS 7.0.6 – iOS 7.1.2, iOS 8 – iOS 8.0.2 and iOS 9 – iOS 9.0.2. TaiG team has released jailbreaks for iOS 8 – iOS 8.4.
Apple has seeded iOS 9.2.1 beta to developers, so it also remains to be seen if TaiG team will wait for Apple to release it to the public.
