As expected, Apple Watch, Apple’s most personal device yet is now available for pre-order on its Online Store.
Apple unveiled the Apple Watch at the media event in September 2014, along with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and outlined the final details for the launch of the Apple Watch at the Spring Forward event in March.
Apple is available for pre-order in nine countries: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the UK and the US.
Apple Watch is powered by Apple’s custom-designed S1 SiP (System in Package), and includes revolutionary features such as the Digital Crown that lets you scroll, zoom, and navigate the display, which also works as a Home button and a convenient way to access Siri. The Retina Display on the Apple Watch features Force Touch, which adds a whole new dimension to the user interface, and one of the biggest innovation in sensing capability since multi-touch. It can sense the difference between a tap and a press, and accordingly provide access to controls within apps. Apple Watch also includes a Taptic engine for notifications, which many reviewers have said is the most impressive piece of technology of Apple Watch. It also includes a Heart Rate Apple Watch also features Wi-Fi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth 4.0 to pair seamlessly with your iPhone. Apple Watch uses the accelerometer, a built-in heart rate sensor, GPS and Wi-Fi from your iPhone for health and fitness tracking features.
The Watch is compatible with recent iPhone models, including the iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 8 or later.

Pricing

Apple is selling the Watch in three different collections — Apple Watch, with a polished or space black stainless steel case; Apple Watch Sport, with a space gray or silver anodized aluminum case; and Apple Watch Edition, with an 18-karat rose or yellow gold case.
Apple Watch Sport is the least expensive model with prices starting at $349 for the 38mm model, and $399 for the 42mm model. This is followed by the Apple Watch, which commands a higher starting price tag of $549, which climbs to $1099 depending on the selected size and band options. Apple Watch Edition is the priciest Watch model with a base cost of $10,000 for the white sports band model.
Apple Watch straps include the Sport Band in black, blue, green, pink and white ($49); the Classic Buckle in black and midnight blue ($149); the Leather Loop in bright blue, light brown and stone ($149); the Modern Buckle in midnight blue, brown, soft pink, rose gray and bright red ($249); the Milanese Loop in stainless steel ($149); and the Link Bracelet in brushed stainless steel and polished space black ($449).

Google brings table editing and more to Docs for iOS

Google has rolled out a brand new update to Docs for iOS, which adds the ability to edit tables and brings other new features. The release also promises to improve performance and fix bugs. With the ability to finally edit tables inside of Docs, users no longer have to switch between several applications and copy and paste things into their documents. Quick edits can be made inside the Docs app itself, saving lots of time and effort. This update also brings the ability to track changes and comments when using Word documents, and the ability to accept and reject suggested edits from the comment stream. Popular keyboard app Swiftkey launces new theme for iOS keyboard

SwiftKey — one of the most popular third-party keyboards on the iOS App Store — has received a major update yesterday that adds a theme store to it.  The theme store currently contains 12 theme, including an animated one. The update also adds some major performance and stability improvements to the keyboard. SwiftKey had introduced its theme store first on Android last year, where users have downloaded more than 26 million themes until now. The company had released an iOS version of its keyboard last year, and it is only now that it is bringing its theme store to it. The 12 new themes include five Nickel themes and six minimal themes. Out of them, three themes — Nickel Light, Nickel Dark and Happy Holidays — are completely free to download and use, with others costing either $0.99 or $1.99.
