Samsung Galaxy S26- rumor has it.

Image
It's still quite early in the Galaxy S26 rumor cycle, so there are plenty of things we don't know about the upcoming lineup. But we have started hearing some murmurs about what to expect, which will only increase as we get closer to 2026. One noteworthy rumor suggests Samsung may revert back to releasing three phones instead of four, as it did with the Galaxy S25 — but which three? Here's what we know about the Samsung Galaxy S26 so fa r. 📅 Launch & Naming Strategy Samsung is rumored to discontinue the base S26 and Plus models, replacing them with a three‑model lineup: Galaxy S26 Pro, S26 Edge, and S26 Ultra, based on firmware codenames M1, M2, and M3 . The Galaxy S26 series is expected to debut in January or February 2026, with a possible December 2025 pre-order push to align with holiday demand. 💰 Pricing Entry-level pricing is speculated to start around $799 / £799, though the shift to premium Pro and Edge models may result in a modest price hike ...

Samsung to take most of its apps to the iOS platform

Image
The long-time Apple rival, Samsung, is set to release a port of several apps to iOS later this year in an effort to increase the cross-platform appeal of its devices including speakers, tablets and fitness trackers. According to the folks over at SamMobile, Samsung is working on apps that will allow their accessories to work with iOS devices. These apps include the Gear Fit Manager and a port for S Health, which helps to log activity, food and sleep. For you iOS device owners who might not know, apps such as the Gear Fit Manager and S Health typically come preinstalled on Samsung phones, similar to apps like Health on the iOS platform. To take it one step further, the company may also release an app for its Level audio accessories and two of its respective apps, Remote Control and Family Square, originally made for the large Galaxy View tablet. The move is one that seems to go in line with Samsung’s previous efforts where the company released a Smart Camera app for iOS that co...

Apple’s free app this week: MarcoPolo Ocean

Image
Apple released its new free app of the week, a virtual underwater sandbox game for kids named MarcoPolo Ocean. Apple’s App of the Week was released yesterday in iTunes and this time it’s a game called MarcoPolo Ocean. MarcoPolo Ocean is a virtual underwater sandbox game for kids and is highly rated in the kids-education-puzzler category. Those who have children should download this game as it was rated a 4.5 stars out of 5 and will be free from today until next Thursday. MarcoPolo Ocean is typically $2.99 in the App Store but for this week only, it will be free for everyone. That’s $3 in savings which is quite a bit of money for those who constantly purchase apps. The concept of the game is great because kids can explore the deep underwater world and different creatures that live in the ocean. When playing the game, you’re basically in a sandbox and can build coral reef, wander the ocean, learn about different animals, and learn new vocabulary and concepts. The game is n...

Mocrosoft building it's Flow Keyboard for iOS

Image
If emails sent out by Microsoft to members of its insider program are anything to go by, the company seems to be working on bringing its much famed World Flow keyboard to iOS.  Microsoft’s Word Flow keyboard is among the key strengths of its Windows Phone platform, so many WP fans will find it disappointing that the company will be bringing the keyboard to other smartphone platforms. Similar to SwiftKey, Word Flow allows you to swipe over alphabets in one motion to quickly frame your words and sentences. However, Microsoft’s prediction engine is far superior to that of SwiftKey and is better able to predict words and sentences. The target area of the keyboard also improves as you continue to use the keyboard, which further helps in improving typing speed. If you don’t like to swipe through alphabets, you can also tap away on the screen like the old-fashioned way. A testament to Word Flow’s prediction engine prowess, is that it broke the Guinness World Record for fas...

Five new iPhone Apps you should get interest

Image
Stolen!  (Free) This is a pretty new app that is starting to gain traction. It’s a ton of fun and kind of hard to explain, even the developers don’t give you hints of how it actually works. But, you basically sign up with your twitter account and then you are able to purchase other twitter accounts. While you own those twitter accounts they generate coins for you. But, even if you buy an account someone else can come along and steal it from you, so you gotta keep an eye out! And the purpose is to become more and more valuable by buying other accounts and getting your own account bought and sold. The only reason it’s not bigger than it already is because that it requires an invite code to join. Tunity  (Free) This app will come in handy in more places than you think. It allows you to scan a muted TV and it will find that channel and stream the audio over your iPhone. Pretty cool! I used it at a restaurant when I was watching a football game and it worked without a h...

Record your iPhone screen with "Vidyo" without jailbreaking

Image
A new app called ‘Vidyo!’ has made its way to the iOS App Store that allows iPhone and iPad users to screen record the activity on their device. Apple does not allow apps to record the content being displayed on the screen, but this app from Innovative Developers LTD uses a smart workaround to bypass that restriction. The app’s workaround involves simulating an AirPlay Mirroring connection to itself, which in turn allows it to record the content being displayed on the screen. The workaround allows the app to record any screen activity in iOS, even the ones that occur outside the app. Up until now, if iPhone or iPad users wanted to do screen recording, their only option was to jailbreak the device and then use one of the many third-party apps from the jailbreaking community. Alternatively, they could simply connect the device to their Mac and then use QuickTime as well. \ Using Vidyo is not as simple as tapping a record button though. After ...

Twitter considering bump up it's tweet limit from 140 character to 10,000

Image
In August of 2015, Twitter officially bumped up the character limit of its Direct Message feature to 10,000. Now some other changes might be in store for the social network. The change to make DMs have a 10,000 character limit has apparently gone well for Twitter, as according to a report from  Re/code , that change could be making the leap to standard tweets at some point in the future. The report states that Twitter has a team working on a project called “Beyond 140,” and that the sole reason for its existence is to bump up the character limit for standard tweets, well, beyond 140 characters. “Twitter is building a new feature that will allow users to tweet things longer than the traditional 140-character limit, and the company is targeting a launch date toward the end of Q1, according to multiple sources familiar with the company’s plans. Twitter is currently considering a 10,000 character limit, according to these sources.” The roll-out for this tweak sho...
