 Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 17 Air this fall, and a new leak claims that it will have an incredibly small battery. If accurate, this means that owners of the unconfirmed device can expect particularly poor battery life from their new iPhone. The report comes via leaker Instant Digital, who posted to their Weibo social network to confirm that the battery will have a capacity smaller than 3,000mAh. As MacRumors points out, the last time we saw an iPhone with such a small battery was when the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models launched. This leak also backed up a previous report by The Information that suggested the iPhone 17 Air would have worse battery life than the current iPhones that are on sale. Apple has released tvOS 9.1.1 for the fourth generation Apple TV yesterday. It includes the much-awaited Podcast app. Yesterday’s update comes more than a month after releasing tvOS 9.1, the first update to tvOS since Apple TV 4 was launched in October. tvOS 9.1 can be downloaded over-the-air through the Settings app on the fourth-generation Apple TV by going to System –> Software Update. tvOS 9.1 included Siri Support for Apple Music, which allowed users to ask Siri to play content from Apple’s streaming music service. In April, HBO launched Now, a brand new standalone streaming service that allows people to access the provider’s content on multiple devices, all without needing a cable subscription. While it’s now expected that Apple will not be debuting its own subscription TV service at this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, that doesn’t mean there might not be any announcements regarding new subscription services focused on TV content to be talked about at the event. Apple TV is now only $69 instead of $99 as announced by     Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, during the company’s “Spring Forward” media event on Monday. He is also  announced that HBO Now  coming exclusively to the Apple TV  in April.        “We would like to make it accessible to more people,” Tim Cook mentioned on the event. It looks like Apple is making a bigger commitment to Apple TV. HBO Now, which got stage time during the media event, will cost $14.99 a month and include HBO’s entire catalog of TV and movie content — no cable subscription required.
